This Glossary of Terms and Symbols was provided by the Positive Space Committee of Wilfrid Laurier University. Its purpose is to provide definitions for some words and concepts commonly used when talking about the LGBTQ communities. The authors have taken great care to ensure that the definitions are accurate. That said, some of these words may mean something different to you.
