OK2BME provides training workshops to schools and community agencies and to help youth set up gay-straight alliances (GSAs) in their schools.

Gay-straight alliances (GSAs) are school clubs that provide a safe space for LGBTQ people and LGBTQ-positive people to meet. Some Waterloo Region schools already have GSAs. In other schools, students are trying to set them up. GSAs are a great way to improve the school environment. They help LGBTQ youth to find safety and security at school and promote celebration of diversity within the general student population.
