KW Counselling Services would like to thank our partners, sponsors, volunteers and donors for making the OK2BME program possible.
We currently receive funding for OK2BME from:
- The Ministry of Children and Youth Services
- The Ontario Trillium Foundation
- RBC Royal Bank
- Libro Credit Union
- Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada
In the past, we have also received funding for OK2BME from Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation.
Some funds for OK2BME also come from KW Counselling Services’ annual campaign donors. Click here for a complete list.
We are grateful for our partnership with the Waterloo Region District School Board which has enabled us to help create Gay Straight Alliances (GSAs) in our local schools. GSAs have played a crucial role in improving the mental health and well-being of LGBTQ students and creating a safer and more inclusive school environment for all.
We would also like to acknowledge our partnership with the Kitchener Youth Action Council, which supports the creation of our annual Pride Prom event each June. Thanks to our Student Advisory Council and many volunteers for helping to make the annual GSA Conference and Pride Prom happen.
