Supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth – A workshop for extended and chosen family
About this workshop: This workshop is designed to support folks who care about a youth who is part of the rainbow community and to help you strengthen your capacity to show them love and respect. We will discuss queer terminology beyond the acronym and relational terms for transgender, non-binary, & gender queer folks. We aim to help you identify your supports for your experiences and the importance of taking care of yourself, as well as exploring your role with your youth, and strengthening your relationship with them.
When: Wednesday, October 30 from 2:30-4:30pm
