Exciting News for Cambridge, by Scott Williams
We are excited to announce a new OK2BME Youth Group in Cambridge! The group will be for ages 13-18 and will provide support, social, and leadership opportunities for participants.
This youth group is a collaboration between the OK2BME program at KW Counselling Services, Idea Exchange and the City of Cambridge. The group is facilitated by trained, supportive, LGBTQ2+ and allied professionals from OK2BME.
The goal of this group is to create a space where youth can hang out with other LGBTQ2+ teens and meet some new people – all in a safe and respectful environment!
There is no commitment in terms of time, people can come once, or just for a few minutes to check it out. If you’re not sure about your comfort level but want to try meeting new friends, this might be the opportunity you’re looking for!
If you have any questions about the group you can e-mail us at OK2BME@kwcounselling.com or call Joscelyn at 519.884.0000 x280.
Groups will run on alternating Tuesday evenings beginning on October 2, 2018 from 6-7:30pm at:
Idea Exchange, Queen’s Square
1 N Square
