Youth Exploring Transition Intake Form

What is the YET program?

The Youth Exploring Transition (YET) Program is a 10-week group that meets once per week from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesdays from October 18 to December 20, with snacks provided. YET is open to transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse youth between the ages of 13-18 who are interested in better understanding their gender and/or gender transition.

The YET group will explore topics such as understanding gender, coming out, navigating transition, and coping with challenges. This program draws on content from other programming for gender diverse youth including Families in TRANSition (FIT) and Gender Journeys. This group is not psychotherapy; it is educational and not meant to treat any mental health issues. We ask that participants commit to coming to all the sessions.

After filling in the form below, a YET facilitator will contact you to ask more detailed questions to determine whether YET will meet your needs.

OK2BME will also be running a group for caregivers/parents (as well as children ages 5-12) called Families in TRANSition (FIT). It will run on Mondays from 5:30-7:30pm, October 16 to December 18.  If you have caregivers who you would like to attend, they can find more information and register HERE.
